Filipino Homes, the largest real estate network in the Philippines, gathered 30 top developers and over 600 agents for its annual national convention in Cebu aimed at creating property products that better meet customer needs.
The event, termed a “celebration of success,” brought together key industry stakeholders to address the disconnect between what developers produce and what the market demands.
The initiative focused on fostering collaboration between developers and agents to design offerings that resonate with buyers.
“The problem is that a lot of developers create products for themselves, not for the market,” said Anthony Gerard Leuterio, founder and CEO of Filipino Homes. “That’s why we brought together the developers and the top sellers, so they can work together to create products that customers actually want.”
A central aspect of the gathering was enhancing the knowledge and skills of real estate agents to make them more sustainable and effective in their roles.
Leuterio emphasized on equipping agents with comprehensive market information to provide valuable insights to buyers, rather than solely focusing on closing sales.
“We need to create a sustainable agent network. So we train the agents to become sustainable by giving them the best information about the market and the projects,” he added.
“This way, they can provide valuable insights to buyers, not just push for a quick sale.”
Developers were provided with valuable market data and insights collected from Filipino Homes’ extensive network of 100 offices nationwide.
This information is intended to assist developers in making informed decisions when conceptualizing and designing new real estate products, ensuring they align with customer preferences.
The event also highlighted the significant opportunity to target overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) as potential buyers.
By engaging with OFWs abroad, developers can tap into a growing market of Filipinos looking to invest in property back home.
During the two-day convention, Filipino Homes launched Bayanihan.com, a global online portal dedicated to connecting Filipinos worldwide with cultural festivals and events.
The platform serves as a comprehensive directory, allowing event organizers to promote their festivals on both local and international stages. It aims to unite the Filipino diaspora by helping them stay connected with their heritage.
Filipino Homes, with close to a hundred offices across the country, offers one-stop-shop services for real estate buyers and sellers.
The company is committed to fostering collaboration and innovation in the industry while celebrating the achievements of professionals contributing to the country’s thriving property market.
