Manila, Philippines – Fruitas Holdings, Inc., the Philippine-listed food and beverage kiosk operator, has continued to expand its product breadth and community store network.
The number of its community stores is expected to reach 50 within a month, on track to hitting 100 before the end of 2021.
Fruitas also recently launched its line of Fruitas Pure 100% Cold Pressed Juices naturally made from fresh fruits and vegetables that contain high amounts of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.
The line comes in five unique flavors – The Cleanser, Rainforest, Beauty Boost, The Energizer, and the Immunity Booster. Fruitas is likewise opening the first standalone Fruitas Creamery, which will sell its line of Fruitas dairy-based ice cream and Soy & Bean soy-based ice cream.
Within the next few weeks and even with the surge in number of COVID cases, Fruitas will open Soy & Bean community stores in the cities of Las Piñas and Marikina and its first franchised community store in Rizal.
In line with previously disclosed plans, it is using its community store network to expand its delivery service, making CocoDelivery available through its Soy & Bean community store in McArthur Highway, Angeles City, Pampanga to serve the city and neighboring towns.
“The pandemic has required us to adapt to the demands of our customers. We will continue to expand and enhance CocoDelivery. Our community stores, which was conceptualized during these challenging times, now contribute approximately 10% of our revenues and we expect this to further increase moving forward. We will also be offering a wider selection of products to our customers and get closer to them. As near-term risks from the pandemic remain, we will also further amplify the health benefits of our key products,” said Mr. Lester Yu, Fruitas Holdings President and Chief Executive Officer.
From a single Fruitas stall opened in 2002, the group ended 2019 with 1,068 stores across the country and over 20 brands in its portfolio, which includes well-loved food concepts Fruitas Fresh from Babot’s Farm, Buko Loco, Buko ni Fruitas, De Original Jamaican Pattie, Johnn Lemon, Juice Avenue, Black Pearl, Friends Fries, The Mango Farm, 7,107 Halo Halo Islands, Tea Rex, Kuxina, SHOU La Mien Hand-Pulled Noodles, and Sabroso Lechon.
