In the 30km category, another GRT member, Kelvin Boyles, performed impressively, securing third place and underscoring the team’s dominance in the event. Chester Rago, also from GRT, completed the race strongly, contributing to the team’s overall success in this inaugural event, which was aptly named “The Minglanilla Trail Run.”
The local government, led by Mayor Atty Rajiv Enad, supported the event, highlighting its commitment to promoting sports and fitness activities within the community.
Team Manager Rey Gealon was thrilled with the performance of his athletes, praising their determination and ability to push their limits. He also expressed gratitude towards divine protection which he believed helped keep the team safe from injuries.
The event’s success was also made possible by various sponsors, including C PASS under Charlie Seo, FTW Athletics, Atty. Roldan Pepito, Gonzalodo Enterprises, La Nueva Supermart, and Romantic Baboy owned by DSWD ARDA Tonyson Lee. Their support was crucial in staging this challenging and exhilarating trail run, which has set a high standard for future events in the region.
