The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has announced that lotto and digit games operations covering the selling and conduct of draws shall be suspended from March 29-31 pending approval of PCSO’s request to conduct draws at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong.
STL and Keno draws and selling of Instant Sweepstakes tickets in areas not covered by the declaration of the ECQ shall be maintained unless otherwise superseded by subsequent issuances pertaining to quarantine classications.
“Furthermore, we wish to inform the public that all PCSO gaming operations shall be suspended nationwide from April 1-4, 2021 in observance of the Lenten Season except for our STL, in areas with approved request to conduct selling and draw activities,” PCSO said.
PCSO, however, said that catch up draws will be conducted to ensure that those who have already purchased tickets in advance for games scheduled in March 29-31 will still have the chance to become millionaires.
The schedule for the catch up draws will be announced once ECQ restrictions are lifted.
